The Woodvale Primary Academy provides for the needs of children within the 3 to 11 age range.
Pupils will be admitted at the age of 3+ without reference to ability or aptitude using the criteria set out in this policy. Admission to our Academy is not dependent on any ‘voluntary’ contribution.

For admissions to Reception for September 2017 parents should apply using the Northamptonshire County Council’s Admissions process. Application forms must be completed and return to the Council by 5.00pm on 15 January 2017.

Parents have the right of appeal to an Independent Appeals Panel if their application is unsuccessful relating to admissions at age 5 (statutory school age) or above. Appeals should be made within twenty (20) school days of the date of refusal to:

Please be aware that the regulations under Section I of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998 limit the size of an infant class (a class in which the majority of children will reach the age of 5, 6 or 7 during the school year) to 30 pupils per class teacher. Admissions over this limit are only permitted in very limited circumstances.
At the Woodvale Nursery we offer places for 3-4 year olds, taking children a term after their third birthday.
We have sessions available in the morning (9.00am – 12.00pm) and in the afternoon (12.30pm – 3.30pm).
