Health Care Assistants (Immunisations) Northamptonshire Health Care Foundation Trust (NHFT) are really excited to have the opportunity to deliver the Children’s Fluenz Immunisation programme (a nasal spray) in Primary Schools, between September 2017 and December 2017.
To do so we need to increase the workforce to work alongside the School Nursing teams. We are looking to recruit forward thinking, dynamic Health Care Assistants for the NHFT community bank to give capacity to deliver the Children’s Fluenz (nasal spray) immunisation across the whole of Northamptonshire from September 2017 to December 2017.
Flexibility can be offered when arranging working localities to suit individual needs. You will work as part of skill mixed teams led by Specialist Community Public Heath School Nurses.
Training for the delivery of the Children’s Fluenz (a nasal spray application) will take place in the last two weeks in June and clinical record training will take place in the first week of July (you need to be available for this training).
The hours of work will be school hours and split into a morning and an afternoon ‘shift’. Immunisations will be delivered in a Primary school setting. If you would like to play a part in this exciting element of the Public Health delivery and gain some increased understanding of the wider School Nursing service delivery please apply to the Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust (NHFT) via NHS jobs.
Please note interviews will take place week commencing 19 June 2017 If you have any queries or would like to discuss the roles further, please contact Rosie McCallum on 07917574137 or firstname.lastname@example.org or Hannah Taylor 07525897809
